Our Projects

Medical Camps

We provide glasses and lenses for the less fortunate patients who cannot afford to buy their own as well as offer eye exams and operations.

Another example of a camp we arrange is for addressing various skin diseases and allergies which are prevalent amongst prisoners.

Dental Care

We have set up a dental clinic with two fully equipped dental chairs at Kot Lakput Jail. Additionally, we visit the clinic every week to provide free dental treatments for the inmates.

Services for Female Patients

We regularly arrange gifts for the female inmates on different occasions such as Eid, Ramadan, Women’s Day and more. To further assist the female inmates and provide them with a break we look after their children who are, by no fault of their own, confined within the prison along with their mothers.

Moreover, we also hold laughter therapy sessions for the female inmates to assist them in maintaining good mental health.

Provisions

Every Ramadan we work hard to provide ration bags for the female inmates as we understand many of them would not otherwise be able to afford enough sustenance to last through the month and be able to fast comfortably.

Many inmates are not well off enough to be able to afford proper food much less luxuries like Eid gifts. This is heartbreaking as many of these inmates also have children who would not know the joy of receiving a present after spending the month fasting.

Thankfully, by the blessings of Allah we are able to help bring some joy into their lives by providing the inmates with Eid gifts.

Furthermore, our efforts to provide the inmates some ease is not restricted to the month of Ramadan and we do our best to provide ration bags for the inmates throughout the year, especially for the ladies.

Surgical Camps

Surgical camps for minor operations such as lipomas, fistulas, draining sinuses and hemorrhoids.

We take great pride in being able to provide those who are less fortunate with access to medical services they would otherwise not have access to.

Educational Aid

Education is one of the most valuable gifts a person can receive. It helps us understand right from wrong and formulate intellectual opinions about the world around us. Moreover, it is through education that we are able to build a better society.

In 2005, we realized that many inmates did not have the chance to be educated and thus set up literacy classes for them and have been continuing to run them from that point onwards. With the kind and greatly appreciated help from the government along with some contributions from philanthropists we have been able to set up ten literacy centres for men and two for women.

Pandemic Care

For most of the unforsaken pandemic, we have continued to provide our services at the prison facility.

We have followed and set an example for both the inmates and staff members on how to adhere to the SOPs put in place by the government.

In addition to the above, we have also worked to arrange sanitizers at the prison to help improve the overall hygiene of the facility as well as the inmates.
